San Pedro

Chile

San Pedro 'Altair', Cachapoal Valley, Chile
Readers rated this wine:
Under VSPT (Vina San Pedro Tarapaca) there are several labels and six Chilean and two Argentine wineries. They are the second largest wine exporter in Chile (Gato Negro accounts for the vast quantity of that) and in the top three fine wine producers in the country. The first winery, San Pedro was established in 1865, which the label of the same name plays homage to.
From the Cachapoal Valley - Andes, directly south of Santiago, this top tier Cabernet suggests high toned red and black currents, cocoa, coriander, earth and dark floral aromas. Slick and supple it is a generous red; inky and elegant, profound and persistent.

From the Cachapoal Valley, directly south of Santiago, this icon Cabernet is exceptional.
Salted carob, vanilla, pipe tobacco and high-toned red and black current aromas lead to a crazy delicious and expressive palate. Silky in texture, supple in weight it has purity and character. A beautiful wine.

San Pedro 'Sideral', Cachapoal Valley, Chile
Readers rated this wine:
Under VSPT (Vina San Pedro Tarapaca) there are several labels and six Chilean and two Argentine wineries. They are the second largest wine exporter in Chile (Gato Negro accounts for the vast quantity of that) and in the top three fine wine producers in the country. The first winery, San Pedro was established in 1865, which the label of the same name plays homage to.
From the Cachapoal Valley - Andes, directly south of Santiago, this top tier blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Carmenere (72/18/4/3/3%) is exceptional.
A complex weave of salty and sweet, pretty and powerful it offers purple berries, cedar chips, espresso and dried violets atop smoked meat and brown spice. The palate is juicy yet concentrated, generous and complete with plenty of aging potential.
