A delicious Riesling, which also offers great value!
"Feinherb" is still a fairly new term, which is meant to suggest a wine that is off-dry (rather than halb-trocken). It is perfumed with lemondrops, green apple, orange blossoms, honey and apricot with a core of slate. The palate is vibrant and has a fine tickle on the tongue. Apricot, lemon and honey flavours mimic the nose.
There is a kiss of sweetness to pop the fruit, which is nicely balanced by a long and mouth-watering.
Perfect with spicy dishes - pad Thai, spicy agadashi tofu or chili spiked crab cakes.
