Potent, exotic, elegant.
The newish Mission Hill Family Estates Terroir Collection is a reflection of proprietor Anthony Von Mandl's vision from some 30 years ago. His goal, to create a line of wines, which showcase the unique micro-climates of the Okanagan Valley. Each label features a photographic image of the site where the wine was conceived.
This Viognier hails from semi-arid west Osoyoos and is entirely unoaked.
Expect aromas of peach marmalade, wildflower honey, lemon zest and ginger biscuits, with a generous squeeze of lime and a core of exotic spices. Expect amazing acidity; it is potent and spicy, has an oily weight and a white pepper and citrus peel finish.
Great concentration without distracting from its elegance.
