McGuigan 'Single Batch Project' Cabernet Sauvignon, South Australia
Readers rated this wine:
Fruity, plush, supple.
Unabashedly fruity, this Aussie Cab is one of more than three dozen assorted wines McGuigan makes.
It doles out Damson plum, cherry and cassis layered with aromas of licorice, cedar chips, oak spice, vanilla and chocolate. Sweet generous fruit mimics the nose, it has a supple texture and approachable character. Easy, tasty and fresh; it's a great everyday red with a persistent chocolaty finish.

Readers rated this wine:
Enjoyable, lively, classic.
Created from more than 100 wines, this classic blend of Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay has been made for more than 150 years!
Apple turnover and buttered toast aromas are lashed with notes of lemon peel, acacia, creamed honey and a whiff of hazelnut and baker's yeast. It has good bones and a crisp zesty character with flavours of quince and yellow apples along with buttered toasted hazelnuts. Chains of small lively bubbles weave up the glass. Thoroughly enjoyable--a classic.
