Township 7 'Provenance Series' Chardonnay, Okanagan Valley BC
Readers rated this wine:
Fleshy, dry, fresh.
This Chardonnay (with 11% Viognier) was predominantly sourced from Hidden Terrace Vineyard in Oliver, with small additions from the Fool's Gold Vineyard in North Oliver and from the Naramata Bench. A portion was fermented in neutral French barriques, with the remaining in stainless steel. The wine in barrel then underwent malolactic fermentation.
It has fleshy sweet fruit aromas of peach and golden apples with lemon, vanilla and hints of honey and caramel. The palate is fresh and dry with flavours of yellow fruits and citrus. It has vague mineral undertones and a leesy finish.
Pair: lobster, cedar planked salmon, creamy chicken dishes, creamy fettucini, grilled white fish, breaded and fried oysters, roast chicken or squash ravioli.

Township 7 'Provenance Series' Merlot, Okanagan Valley, BC
Readers rated this wine:
Generous, fresh, expressive.
The 2020 vintage estate Merlot was harvested from T7's North Oliver Bench’s Blue Terrace Vineyard and Front Yard Vineyard in Naramata. In Oliver the rich, rocky soils provide a foundation for superior grape quality while those from Front Yard Vineyard on the Naramata Bench add complexity and dimension. It saw two-to-three weeks of maceration time and was aged in American and French barrels for 18 months before bottling. Expect warm and welcoming notes of chocolate cherries and plums, vanilla, violets, cedar and earth and a hint of mint. It is a supple wine with solid balance and structure; plum, chocolate, coffee, earth, toasted spice and leather flavours dominate. The tannins are super fine. Pair: BBQ, hearty/meaty stews and pastas, roasted lamb, or medium to hard cheese
Pairs great with Gone Crackers Parmesan & Rosemary
