Andean Vineyards 'Condor Peak' Sauvigon Blanc, Mendoza Argentina
Readers rated this wine:
Tangy, crisp, tart
Tart and tangy; lemon balm, gooseberry and boxwood aromas lead to a pithy and grassy palate with crunchy gooseberry flavours. It has prominent acidity and a slightly bitter finish, so it's a wine that needs food.
Pairs great with Gone Crackers Undressed.

Readers rated this wine:
Tangy, crisp, value
A great everyday value white, this tangy Sauvignon Blanc doles out notes of lemon-lime, candlewax and lanolin, gooseberry and crunchy white fruits, nettle and grass clippings. Forest floor/mushroomy flavours are layered with mineral, citrus and green apples. Overall, fresh with good concentration and a crunchy finish.

Second Review: January 2023
Spiced plum and forest berry aromas are layered with smoked meat and earth, cocoa, white pepper, espresso and cocoa. The palate is slick and salty with flavours that echo the nose; red berries, herbs, toasted spice and leather.

Value, fresh, approachable.
The Condor Peak wines offer great buy-by-the-case value.
This new addition suggests charred hickory and smoked meat, blackened plums dipped in warm chocolate, baking spices and vanilla. Nice freshness here, the same smoke meat, chocolate and spice rub flavours roll over the palate. A smooth and approachable BBQ wine.
Pairs great with Gone Crackers Canadian Chedder & Chive

Smoky, earthy, succulent.
A step up in price from the entry-level Malbec, this reserve has interesting smoked meat, sour cherries, espresso, bittersweet cocoa, herbs, toasted spices and leather aromas lead to a similarly succulent palate that is spicy, smokey and earthy.
A red for roasted meats, hearty pastas and mushroom dishes.
