Black Hills Estate Winery Pinot Noir, Okanagan Valley BC
Readers rated this wine:
A new offering from Oliver's Black Hills Estate Winery, this Pinot was aged for 10 months in French oak and comes from vineyards owned by Andrew Peller (who bought Black Hills in 2017), which means it is still considered estate. Classic aromas of red berries and cherries, cocoa, tealeaf, savoury botanical and leather lead to a palate that is earthy, faintly spicy and has dusty cocoa tannins. Not so much in the silky realm of Pinot, but fresh. ©copyright 2019 Daenna Van Mulligen
