Seven Terraces Pinot Rose, Marlborough New Zealand
Readers rated this wine:
Quaffable, juicy, slick.
Seven Terraces wines are made by Rossendale, which is located in Christchurch on the eastern coast of the South Island of New Zealand. The Pinot Noir grapes come from surrounding Canterbury (some of my research tells me there is a portion of Pinot Gris in this wine, but I'm not sure.)
A pretty salmon-pink, it features wild strawberry, pomegranate, a hint of white pepper and roses, rhubarb and leather aromas. It has a slick texture and juicy character with sweet and tangy red fruit, fine spice and tealeaf flavours.
