Value, juicy, peachy.
I've long been a fan of South Africa's Chenin Blancs - they come in many guises and the Spier is a great starting point - it's tasty and offers consistently exceptional value.
Fresh peaches and green apples, star fruit and a hint of yellow plums, orange blossoms, melon and smoked honey. The palate is fresh and pristine with flavours of grilled pineapples, yellow apples and honey. Good length and balance.
At this price it's a buy-by-the-case kinda bottle.
Pair: Fish, spicy cuisines, white meats, summer salads and soft cheeses.
