A sibling to the equally well-priced Malbec, this Syrah is extremely good value.
Sumptuous and sweet on the nose; vanilla, chocolate, wild forest berries, sarsaparilla, violets and sweet peppery spice. The palate is concentrated and has a glycerol weight. The flavours jive with its aromas it is potent and rich with dark mocha and fleur de sel on the finish. Powerful with a medium-long finish.
A wine for hearty dishes.
