Fragrant, spicy, fresh.
While the newly turned Rust Wine Co. (formerly Rustico Farm & Cellars owned by the colourful, Bruce Fuller) is located on Golden Mile Drive and is one of the handful of wineries allowed to use the designation, this wine comes from the the Lost Horn Vineyard in Okanagan Falls. It spent 13 months in French oak (20% new) barrels, maturing.
It's a medium-bodied wine with fragrant black currents, spice, tobacco, cedar chips and leather aromas. Savoury, spicy and meaty with flavours of currents, tobacco and spiced cocoa to mimic the nose.
Pair: white meats, blue cheese, red sauces.

Clean, zippy, charming.
Harvested from the Lost Horn Vineyard in the Oakanagan Falls sub-GI and un-oaked, this off-dry Chardy doles out honeyed peaches, apples and and citrus blossoms on the nose. The palate is clean and zippy, juicy with expressive sweet melon and peach fruits. Charming, easy and approachable.

Expressive, juicy, approachable.
While the newly turned Rust Wine Co. is located on Golden Mile Drive and is one of the handful of wineries allowed to use the designation. However, this wine comes from the Lazy River Vineyard in the Similkameen Valley and it was fermented and aged in stainless steel, 1/3 of it went through carbonic maceration, which lends the wine its fruity character, and less tannic structure.
I love this style of red, juicy and expressive with cherries, strawberry twizzlers, leather, brown spices and beets on the nose. Similar flavours of strawberry jelly are woven with nutella. Fresh and approachable with a light body that responds well to a chill.
A year round wine, from holiday turkey to patio sipping.

Expressive, juicy, approachable.

It is ruby red with aromas of peppery spiced and red currents, raspberries and red cherries layered with cedar/forest floor and cocoa. The palate is Juicy; pristine fruit, fine spices and ruby red fruit mimic the nose. Approachable with levity, it is a wine that responds well to a slight chill.
$5 of every $50 magnum of this wine goes to the BC Hospitality Foundation, assisting those in the hospitality industry facing financial challenges.

Classic, aromatic, oily.
This off-dry aromatic slams out notes of honeycomb and lychee, ginger and mango, rose soap and baking spices. It is potent and shows classic Gewurz character; oily and boldly flavoured with lush tropical flavours and spice.
