Made from 55-year-old estate vines this baby Amarone offers cherry and prune aromas with smoked savoury spices, balsamic and coffee, dried rose petals and modelling clay. It is balanced and spicy with juicy red fruit flavours layered with spice. Good depth and length with sweet tannins.

Savoury, supple, succulent.
Made from almost 60-year-old estate Corvina Veronese, Corvinone and Rondinella vines, this baby Amarone was aged for 20 months in large neutral oak barrels, then six months more in bottle.
It suggests sweet brown spices, prune, charred orange peel, balsamic, cherry liqueur, leather and tealeaf aromas. Spicy dried red fruit, vanilla and brown spice is expressed on the palate, espresso trails on the finish. It has a supple weight and some chew to the tannins, the finish is savoury.
Age potential 10 years.
