Pentage Winery Gamay Noir, Skaha Bench, Okanagan Valley BC
Readers rated this wine:
Tangy, charming, juicy.
Pentage is a boutique winery with 35-acres overlooking Skaha Lake.
Their Gamay Noir is a first for me, and in the glass it offers spiced cherries and red plums, a hint of pepper and cocoa, tealeaf and cedar with a hint of bacon fat. Tangy red berries and fine spice dominate the palate. It is juicy and charming but still delivers structure.
Chill slightly before serving and I guarantee you'll enjoy it more.

Pentage Winery GSM, Dirty Dozen Vineyard, Skaha Lake, Okanagan Valley, BC
Readers rated this wine:
Fragrant, fleshy, delicious.
A blend classic to Southern France, and grown on Pentage's estate Dirty Dozen Vineyard, this Grenache, Syrah and Mourvedre is fragrant and fleshy red that offers purple berries, a potpourri of cedar chips and dried violets, vanilla, sweet brown spices and licorice. It's fruit-forward and expressive, generous and supple. It's a bit hot, but the fruit carries it. The finish is long and trails herbal and spice flavours.
Delicious.

Pentage Winery Pinot Gris, Okanagan Valley BC
Readers rated this wine:
Delicious, lively, fruity.
Another delicious vintage of the Pentage Pinot Gris.
A slight blush colour makes it even more appealing and the nose offers pears, peaches and honey alongside spring blossoms. At the core, expect some of the Pinot earthiness - mushroom and smoke... It has a kiss of sweetness on the palate and great concentration. Very good weight and complexity with lively acidity to keep it fresh.
Pair: Spicier dishes, oily fish, white meats and creamy mushroom risotto.

Readers rated this wine:
Delicious, slick, joyful.
A boutique winery located just outside of Penticton, Pentage sits on 35-acres overlooking Skaha Lake.
I've long been an admirer of their Gris and the 2018 is no exception with its aromas of melon and grapefruit, wildflowers, honey and pear nectar. It has depth and concentration; laden with ripe golden fruit and honey it is off-dry with a slick weight and impressive persistence, but is equally fresh and joyful.
Pair: Spicier dishes, oily fish, white meats and creamy mushroom risotto.

Pentage Winery Rose, Okanagan Valley BC
Readers rated this wine:
Delicious, juicy, excellent.
A boutique winery located just outside of Penticton, Pentage sits on 35-acres overlooking Skaha Lake.
This excellent rose is made from a field blend of 10 different varieties and has a vibrant ruby hue. Cherry twizzlers and raspberry, purple flowers and fresh wild herbal aromas lead to an equally fresh palate. Expressive sweet high-toned red fruit dominates the palate, it has purity and freshness in spades. Concentrated yet juicy, this is a BC pink standout.
