Fragrant, alluring, value.
This aged red is a blend of Tempranillo (80%) and Garnacha that was matured 12 months in American oak before bottling and receiving additional years in bottle. It's impressively youthful despite its age; alluring aromas of strawberry compote, vanilla and licorice, cherries and roses makes for a fragrant sniff. On the palate, dried strawberries, tealeaf and fine spice flavours lounge on a fresh but thoughtful palate. Great value, and a wine to pair with Spanish cheeses and tomato-based dishes.

Silky, woven, mature.
Rioja Bordon has a lengthy winemaking history of nearly 125 years; it was founded in 1890, post phylloxera. This 2009 is a blend of Tempranillo (70%) with Garnacha (20%) and Mazuelo (10%) was matured 36 months in American oak before bottling and receiving additional two years in bottle.
Expect stewed strawberries, kirsch and cigar aromas woven with charred licorice root, wet cedar, toasted baking spice, dry leaves and vanilla. The palate echoes the nose with sweet dried fruit, cigar and spice flavours. It's seamless and silky, still notably fresh, and boasts a long finish and polished tannins.

This aged blend of Tempranillo (80%) with Garnacha (15%) and Mazuelo (5%) was matured 24 months inwhite American oak before bottling and receiving additional years in bottle.
Iodine and preserved cherries, tealeaf, leather and spice aromas lead to a savoury and restrained palate with good levity, which is harnessed by distinct earthy flavours. Fine spice and cocoa trail on the finish.
Pair: roasted meats, pastas in red sauces and hearty soups and stews

Expect fragrant aromas of strawberry jam and star anise, rose petals, fleur de sel, cedar chips and iodine aromas. It has a smooth entry and restrained charred cocoa, tobacco and toasted spice flavours. A definitive food wine. Pair: roasted meats, pastas in red sauces and hearty soups and stews.

Rioja Bordon has a lengthy winemaking history of nearly 125 years; it was founded in 1890, post phylloxera. This 2018 Crianza is a blend of Tempranillo and Garnacha.
Red juicy fruit aromas are layered with saddle leather and strawberry, tealeaf and iodine. The palate is an echo of the nose; bright tangy red fruits, savoury spice, tobacco and leather.
Classic.
