Approachable, expressive, zesty.
A consistent crowd favourite, the approachable Wente suggests sweet pineapple and honey, butterscotch and lemon with acacia blossoms and a hint of nuts. The palate echos the nose, it is juicy and expressive but not overdone or too fleshy. Approachable, balanced and bright with a nice long finish.

Wente Vineyards 'Southern Hills' Cabernet Sauvignon, Livermore Valley, California
Readers rated this wine:
Jammy, approachable, smooth.
A very jammy nose of blueberry, raspberry, vanilla, licorice and mocha leads to a supple palate with oodles of sweet fruit and vanilla liqueur. There is a slightly fishy undertone, on the nose and palate. A straightforward and approachable wine, international in style, to pair with chili dogs, burgers, spicy wings or sausage.

Supple, approachable, fragrant.
Always engaging and fragrant, the 2019 version of the Wente family's estate Cabernet Sauvignon stays true.
Blueberry tea, cherry pipe tobacco, licorice, baking spices, vanilla, licorice and chocolaty aromas are echoed on the palate. Purple berries and licorice, caramel and sweet tea flavours are carried on a supple palate. It has a lovely weight and pleasing texture.
A tasty modern red with notable freshness to pair with chili dogs, burgers, spicy wings or sausage.
Pairs great with Gone Crackers Olive Oil & Cracked Pepper
