Stag's Hollow Pinot Noir, Stag's Hollow Vineyard, Okanagan Falls, BC
Readers rated this wine:
Juicy, earthy, youthful.
Stag's Hollow is located in the Okanagan Falls sub-GI and celebrated 25 years in 2020.
This Pinot, made from 25-year-old estate grown Stag's Hollow Vineyard Dijon (115, 667) clone grapes is a fine representation of the variety with a firmer than the Shuttleworth Vineyard version of the same vintage. The vines in this vineyard are the estate's oldest at 27 years. The lots were vinified and aged separately in 300L (16% new) French oak barrels for 12 months before blending.
Red currents and sour cherry aromas are layered with beet greens, cedar, rainforest floor, fine spice and cocoa. The palate is savoury and juicy with notable structure and youthfulness. Wonderful pinosity here; freshness is key.

Readers rated this wine:
Fine, earthy youthful.
Stag's Hollow is located in the Okanagan Falls sub-GI and celebrates 25 years in 2020!
This Pinot, made from 25-year-old estate grown Stag's Hollow Vineyard Dijon clone grapes is a fine representation of the variety with a leaner character than the Shuttleworth Vineyyard version. Expect earthy notes swirling around wild red berries, dried flowers and tealeaf, violets and cedar and it's just touched with spice. Fresh and smooth it has sweet berries, vanilla liqueur, fine spice and forest floor flavours; silky with good levity it still has a youthful character and will meld with time.

Juicy, earthy, lovely.

Another fantastic vintage for this Pinot, it leads with raspberry, red cherry, roasted beets, cedar chips and violets and suggests pomegranate, star anise and Turkish coffee undertones. It has a lovely supple entry with lovey freshness and structure. Forest floor, red fruits and fine toasted spice flavours round out the palate. Great persistence.

Readers rated this wine:
Charming, juicy, expressive.
Stag's Hollow is located in the newly named Okanagan Falls sub-GI and was established in the mid-1990s. This Pinot, made from estate grown grapes is simply charming. Notes of raspberries and cherry twizzler mingle with vanilla, violets, baking spices and cedar chips. It has a bouncy palate with juicy red fruit wrapped around an earthy core. A good pairing with pork belly, mushroom risotto or grilled salmon.

Stag's Hollow Rose, Okanagan Valley
Readers rated this wine:
Tangy, dry, juicy.
Stag's Hollow celebrates 25 years in 2020!
Made from Syrah (64.8%) grown in Osoyoos, and Zweigelt from the Similkameed Valley, this pale Provencal-hued pink offers apricot and melon, red currents and orange blossom aromas. Tangy high-toned red fruit lines the palate; overall, good structure, balance and freshness.
A great wine for taco Tuesdays, or partner with grilled fish, ratatouille, grilled veggies and medium cheeses.
