Micel Torino 'Cuma' Organic Torrontes, Argentina
Readers rated this wine:
Perfumed, racy, pristine.
Argentina's perfumed white grape is woefully under marketed in our market, I'd love to see more. The Cuma (means pure and clean in the Aymara peoples language) offers fantastic value. Dried flowers and apricot, star fruit, grapefruit, lime and chipped stone aromas lead to a bracing palate of lime and peach stone. Bright and quaffable, it has a snappy pristine finish.
Pair: stronger cheeses, smoked sausage or salami or spicy curries and stir-frys. Pairs Great with Gone Crackers Roasted Shallot & Herb ©copyright 2021 Daenna Van Mulligen

Michel Torino 'Cuma' Organic Torrontes, Cafayate Valley, Argentina
Readers rated this wine:
Pristine, perfumed, exotic.
Seriously fantastic value.
Argentina's white grape deserves much more attention than it's getting - it has such a lovely perfume. In this case, expect kaffir lime, ginger root, crisp white fruits, jasmine, grapefruit and a hint of white pepper. Crunchy and zesty on the palate with a long exotic spice and grapefruity finish.
Pair: stronger cheeses, smoked sausage or salami or spicy curries and stir-fry's.
