Over All
1. Gazela Rose, Portugal NV
Great value!
A simple, fun sipping wine with low alcohol and just a prickle of vivace bubble on the tongue. Light ruby in colour it is a fresh wine that presents aromas of juicy cherry and red berries, vanilla and hints of peach pit. The palate is very juicy, it is off-dry but provides lively acidity to balance the sweetness. The bright peachy/berry flavours return on the palate with a zesty finish.

4. Elephant Island Pink Elephant, Okanagan Valley BC, 2008
This method champenoise sparkling is a fun pink sipper made from Granny Smith apples with a dosage of cassis - it's like drinking an un-traditional Kir Royal.
